Round II

Greetings friends!

Sorry I have neglected my little blog recently. My head is spinning with the second week of school underway. A variety of events have made it more chaotic. My laptop screen cracked (again) so I had to learn how to ship a new one down here.

My friend Matt had an appendectomy last week and has been out recovering. We've visited frequently. You wouldn't belive the hospital. There are CHICKENS and stray dogs running about the aisleways! The nurses wear tattered yellowing uniforms that resemble stripper outfits. He asked if the sugery would be laparoscopic and the surgeon laughed in his face. There were ants in his hospital room and he had to assist his IV placement.

My roomie and I promptly settled in to our new home. We even started a little garden with supplies I scaveneged from an upper semester and the hardware store. Hopefully we will be growing our own tomatoes soon instead of eating the mushy gross ones from the grocery. Little Blue is treating me and my friends well so far. That car goes everywhere.

Courses:
1. Parasitology: worms

2. Physio II: Kidney! Get excited.

3. Immuno: Comes with a bible and notorious for failing students.

4. Anatomy II: At least we know what we are in for since its a continuation of first semester. Started with large animal repro, one of my interests, and have moved on to thoracic limb vessels and nerves.

I tackle the horse trims this Friday, but this time with the help if a chain shank and a few friends. I am properly equipped now with my apron, knives, and rasps.

First scuba club dive this weekend. Will post photos with my new camera!!
