Olive's Adventures

Well we recovered! I jumped her one last time once most if the cars had moved. I coasted to her new home across the street and she's outfitted with new for sale signs. I honestly think the battery is ok it just hadnt been turned on in over a month.
The hurricane was just an all time low; I thought you all would at least get a kick out of it.

After a variety of fun-filled island challenges I charged the battery and filled all of the tires myself, then met with a mechanic to inspect and certify the car. Turns out he was familiar with the car and that it's "in good shape." I asked him to repair the pitifully sagging bumper prior to scheduling a test drive for my first potential buyer.

I continue to tutor Anatomy I and II, which I love, and my students seem to favor my teaching style. My friend has a dog in and out of the clinic flirting with endocarditis and trying to keel on us. But, you all know how much I love to multi-task. For now, I'm keeping myself and my friends afloat which at the moment means staying positive in the face of portending doom (exams). I'm coasting in with a handful of lectures to finish off for each class.  Then I'll be caught up and ready to review for exams as well as instate  my usual tra-la-la oblivion: swimming, sleeping, and otherwise staying calm while my classmates chug caffeine and freak out.

Forgive my upcoming lapse; midterms begin this week and all through next. 4 exams, 7 days.

take care
