Went snorkeling today; finally! I'm the nerd because I have my own gear but I don't care. I've been itching to get in the ocean with my fins but I won't go without a buddy. I keep asking everyone if they'll go in with me. They think I'm kidding. hello...? we're right on the Caribbean Sea - I want in! I've got a few who will follow me for now although snorkeling isn't the "cool" thing to do. Whatever. I saw a big, but rather shy ray and hundreds of fish surrounding it. The sand is black and there are thousands of conch shells strewn all over the rocks. I'll sneak some back into the states.
I also got my hands on some Ting - they sell it by the case, along with Carib beer : )
