Pathology Necropsy Report

For Pathology Lab, we're required to to complete a necropsy report and presentation. There are 10 students per group and I've quickly learned that my classmates don't even know basic medical terminology such as morbidity and mortality. The meeting to type up a draft could have taken me 20 minutes, but we took 2 hours; the beauty of group projects.

I'll post some interesting photos of our case; we found urinary jacks, learned new and exciting ways to classify and describe hemorrhage, and decided the final morphological diagnosis was Ehrlicia canis/Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation (DIC). Affectionately known as Death Is Coming, DIC is a pathologic form of coagulation which occurs in response to a variety of diseases.

Back to studying and heavily proof-reading my group's final project.

bye for now
