Well, we finally had a serious storm all night last night and there is no power on most of the island. The Marriott remains a beacon of light and fortunately school still has power (and airconditioning). We will be studying by candlelight : )
Please note that posts may become slow in coming while we wait for internet to return to my various stomping grounds. The LRC and most of school has flooded, as well as the roads having been washed out all over the island. Luckily my roomie and I have flashlights, food, water, and extra batteries stocked up. Gas stove doesn't hurt either.
