So usually we are typical poor grad students eating mac n cheese. But welcome to the Caribbean. I've never seen a lobster this big! A friend caught it and joined us for dinner: delicious. Getting it into a pot and killed was hectic; it was twice the size as our biggest pots. Imagine three vet students trying to cook this thing. Beth was worried it was going to get loose and scurry around our room. It doesn't even have pincers. But still, end result was excellent. Way better than any lobster I've eaten out, especially down here. I'm becoming proficient making some wicked good plantains and I've successfully cooked the bread pudding in our teeny toaster ovens. Rum sauce...mmmmmm
