Exam I down

First exam yesterday (Histo) - I think I aced it. We haven't been given our grades yet, but supposedly we all performed well. There is an "anatomy storm on the horizon:" Anatomy Exam I @ 7am on Mon morning. And there is a 2 tank dive on Sunday I've signed up for. But, that's no problem; I'll be studying all this week, then Fri and Sat while everyone else goes out. I found a horse leg floating in the donkey leg bin and of course I couldn't resist. Students avoid it because a) it looks weird (hello, it's bigger so we can see everything more clearly) and b) it's too heavy to lift by yourself. Unless you are determined like me and you use your strong muscles and don't care to get formalin on your scrubs so you can learn on the real thing! Needless to say I was in the anat lab yesterday afternoon.

We went out to dinner last night to celebrate our survival of the first exam. That was nice to have one evening that we did not study - the only one we've had so far. Dinner here is a 3 hour excursion and you never know what food items they may or may not have, so it's always interesting. Island time is  v     e     r   y     s    l   o   w

Better get back to nutrition

take care
