Everyone's getting panicky about Ericka which is headed or way. But, what can you do? We're on an island...stock up on H2O and hang tight. This entire island is run on generators; the campus has got its own. So far, it's only flickered once since I've arrived. I'm impressed. It's an adventure for sure. We've got tons of orientation activities so I'm on autopilot for now, but will be keeping an eye on the storm and don't plan on any hurricane parties, which apparentl is the thing to do around here. Right. I'll pass on that for now...

I'm so happy to read your postings! hang tight. and definitely go snorkeling more, of course once the crazy winds have passed from storms. weird that no one seems to care to partake...humans are funny.
